I was wandering near Area 51 and managed to get this photo before I had to hide from a guard on patrol. This was a chunk of something that actually melted the sand around it. I have no idea what it was and frankly I didn't want to pick it up to bring home and find out... See also [the truth is out there]
Obviously it's not actually Area 51. This isn't sand, it's snow. And it's not some mysterious object, but simply a chunk of de-icing salt. I was out for a walk playing with my green laser. I shone the laser on the salt and it gave the result shown. I thought it looked like some crazy radioactive chunk so I wrote a little fiction about area 51.
